Key Responsibilities- Greets and schedules patients in accordance with department and modality specific policy.
- Coordinates patient access and maintains accurate records.
- Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintains office supplies, equipment, and materials to ensure a productive work environment.
- Adheres to all safety, infection control, and employee health policies and procedures.
- One-year post-secondary education in Medical Secretary program or equivalent medical clerical experience.
- Intermediate language, basic math, and intermediate reasoning ability.
- Personal computer, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Medical terminology.
