Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Mammographer Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures, including mammography, to provide high-quality images for radiologists to interpret.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality diagnostic procedures, including mammography, to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Provide and use radiation protection devices and techniques in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Maintain radiographic quality, positioning patients and equipment accurately, and manipulating techniques as needed.
  • Correctly document required information in the computerized information system (RIS) and complete exams in a timely fashion.
  • Remain current in knowledge of breast imaging and participate in professional meetings annually.
  • Assist radiologists and/or physicians in specific procedures, patient care, and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Certified and holds current registration with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Holds Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.
  • Certified and holds current A.R.R.T. registration in mammography.
