We are currently collaborating with a leading global metal producer seeking to recruit a Logistics/Operations Coordinator to enhance their team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the reception and processing of monthly customer purchase orders for primary aluminum, billets, and other materials, along with material forecasts.
  • Evaluate inventory levels and sales forecasts to create precise monthly production orders for the overseas manufacturing facility.
  • Track and manage inventory throughout the supply chain, ensuring transparency from production to arrival in the United States.
  • Support domestic logistics by liaising with warehouses, drayage providers, and carriers for customer shipments, while also offering customer support in collaboration with sales teams.
  • This role reports directly to the Head of US Operations.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, demonstrating effective cross-cultural communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • A highly motivated multitasker with exceptional attention to detail and prioritization capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Candidates must be based in Atlanta or be willing to relocate.
