Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Planning Coordinator. The Planning Coordinator will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and coordination of various aspects of the production process.

This dynamic and multifaceted role involves a combination of meeting production targets, maintaining inventory levels, and delivering products to our customers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and an understanding of supply chain principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with the brands and marketing to gather insights and develop accurate demand forecasts for beauty and skincare products.
  • Inventory Management: Minimize excess inventory while ensuring product availability by making decisions regarding when and how much to order, considering factors such as lead times, carrying costs, and demand fluctuations.
  • Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, including manufacturers and packaging providers, to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various brand teams to successfully plan, address supply chain issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to make informed decisions and improvements in the production and planning process.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and demand forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operational management, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in production planning or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with supply chain planning software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
