Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Repair Specialist to join our team at Volt. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

Salary Range: $40-$46 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of aerospace vehicles.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Oversee training and work under general direction.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working from heights using fall protection equipment with weight limitations of 225lb or lower.
  • 3 years' experience having the ability to read, understand, and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • 3 years' experience in detecting hazardous working conditions and safety problems via regular check of equipment and work area.
