Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Oversee daily baking activities, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Bread Production: Create a range of artisan breads, including sourdough, baguettes, and ciabatta, using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and presentation, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies, manage stock levels, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Certifications: California Food Handlers Card required.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with knowledge of weights, measurements, and baking procedures.
