Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator assists with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program to ensure high quality, patient-centered care by supporting the daily operations of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Quality Leadership Team and other stakeholders to monitor processes, identify opportunities, obtain analyses, provide constructive input and channeling concerns appropriately, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements.
  • Highlight priorities through data analysis and trending, incident response, and assist with staff education to advance patient safety and control and minimize risks at the facility.
  • Assist with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program to ensure high quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • 2+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting, Required.
  • 2+ years experience with computer programs, database programs, spreadsheets and project management, Preferred.
