Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team at Ashe Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Services department, you will play a vital role in implementing treatment programs for patients, promoting their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to provide comprehensive patient care, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and patient education.
  • Utilize various modalities, such as electric stimulation and ultrasound, to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Possess a valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Acute Care Experience preferred.
