Pediatric Clinical Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Clinical Instructor to join our team at West Coast University. As a key member of our student-centered community, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for teaching with the next generation of nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide academic support and guidance to students, serving as a role model and facilitator in the learning process.
- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Apply your skills and experience to develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials, contributing to the continuous improvement of our curriculum.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Participate in assessment activities and contribute to the evaluation of student performance, ensuring that our students meet the highest standards of excellence.
- Professional Growth and Service: Engage in ongoing professional development, contributing to the growth and success of our students and the university as a whole.
- Clinical Experience: If working with students in a clinical setting, assume responsibility for students in clinical facilities, clarify expectations, and provide feedback on clinical performance.
- Education and Experience: A Master's degree in nursing and a minimum of two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care, with a minimum of one year of experience in the field in which you teach.
- Professional Qualifications: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, experience with online learning management systems, and compliance with state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
