Academic Burn Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Burn Surgeon to join our team at the University of Utah Department of Surgery. As a key member of our academic group, you will have the opportunity to provide clinical education, support research, and contribute to the development of our burn surgery program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with burn injuries
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in burn surgery and surgical critical care
  • Contribute to research initiatives and publications in burn surgery and related fields
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees to advance the field of burn surgery

Requirements:

  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
  • Burn Specialty fellowship training
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in providing clinical education
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
