Burn Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Burn Surgeon to join our team at the University of Utah Health. As a key member of our Department of Surgery, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our academic and research endeavors.

• Provide high-quality burn care to patients, including acute burn critical care, acute burn and soft tissue surgery, and burn reconstructive surgery.
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Participate in academic and research activities, including teaching and mentoring students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and research protocols.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in burn surgery and critical care through ongoing education and professional development.

• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
• Burn Specialty fellowship training.
• Excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in providing clinical education.
• Strong leadership skills and an interest in eventually assuming the role of Assistant Director of the unit.

• A stable, nationally and internationally recognized, ACS/ABA-verified regional adult and pediatric burn center.
