Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Burn Surgeon to join our team at the University of Utah Health. As a key member of our academic department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring students, and contributing to research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the burn unit, including surgical interventions and critical care management.
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in the department of surgery.
  • Contribute to research initiatives, including study design, data collection, and publication.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care are required, along with Burn Specialty fellowship training. Strong leadership skills and an interest in academic medicine are highly desirable.
