JOB OVERVIEW

MartinFed seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our skilled team. The Analyst will take the initiative to identify and manage threats and vulnerabilities that may jeopardize the Agency. Key responsibilities include gathering, processing, and distributing cyber threat intelligence to government leaders and security stakeholders.

The role requires the ability to create documents, deliver presentations, and offer insights to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Gather cyber threat data from multiple sources.
  • Analyze and process information to detect threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor open-source channels to report malicious activities.
  • Utilize indicators of compromise (IOCs) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to identify adversary patterns.
  • Generate intelligence reports for government officials.
  • Collaborate with cyber intelligence teams.
  • Conduct asset identification and network exploration.
  • Stay informed on trends in the security industry.
  • Provide risk evaluations for government leaders.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures related to cyber threat intelligence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Information Security.
  • Experience in threat hunting and technical documentation.
  • Strong background in analyzing log formats and raw packet captures.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Shell).
  • Knowledge of malware, attack strategies, and incident response.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and emerging threats.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Industry-recognized certifications (GCIA/GCIH/GCFA/GNFA/GCTI/GREM).
  • 3+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence.
  • Experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems and file systems.
  • Preferred TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience in classified settings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Office-based work environment.
  • Extended periods of computer use.
  • May require prolonged sitting at a desk.
  • Work must be performed on-site.
  • Fast-paced environment with deadlines.
