Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance tasks and service requests in accordance with company protocols and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Capable of executing various tasks including carpentry, painting, electrical work, HVAC, masonry, janitorial duties, and general upkeep within an apartment community.
  • Oversee the Make-Ready/Turn process for units.
  • Coordinate and evaluate vendor or contractor work to ensure quality and adherence to company standards.
  • Conduct inspections of all ready-to-rent apartments to confirm they are prepared for new tenants.
  • Identify and report any immediate or potential maintenance issues concerning the property, including roofs, garages, carports, driveways, streets, stucco, siding, pools, recreational facilities, and grounds.
  • Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to the Property or Service Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on the size and requirements of the community.
  • Work independently or collaboratively with a team to complete assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in multi-unit maintenance; 2-3 years preferred.
  • Experience in appliance maintenance is advantageous.
  • Possess skills in carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, painting, emergency/security systems, and pool maintenance.
