Job Opportunity

VDS Consulting Group is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Operating Partner. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who can lead the transformation of portfolio companies, driving operational efficiencies and creating value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough operational and financial assessments of portfolio companies to identify inefficiencies and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance market positioning.
  • Lead efforts to optimize organizational structure, enhance leadership capabilities, and improve corporate governance within portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate with portfolio company executives to create and implement value creation plans.
  • Maintain strong relationships with portfolio company management teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in operating partner roles, private equity/credit funds, or lower middle-market operational and financial roles.
  • Knowledge of relevant industries and a strong professional network.
  • Demonstrated breadth of experience in value creation planning and implementation, leading turnaround initiatives, and managing external consultant relationships.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen with expertise in financial modeling, cashflow management, and performance improvement.
  • Superior leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and other key stakeholders.
