Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers during routine examinations and procedures, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patient care documentation, noting any significant changes in patient conditions, and promptly report to registered nurses or physicians.
- Perform various clerical duties, including organizing tasks, greeting visitors, conducting research for healthcare staff, reviewing orders for accuracy, and maintaining medical records.
- Support clinical operations by maintaining cleanliness in work areas, troubleshooting equipment issues, managing supply inventories, and assisting in the orientation of new staff.
- Deliver direct personal care to patients as per care plans, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and measuring vital signs.
- Reinforce educational materials provided to patients by healthcare professionals and document patient comprehension of instructions.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensure/Certification: Must be listed as a Nursing Assistant I by the relevant health department and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: A minimum of six months in clerical or customer service roles is required.
Skills: Proficiency in verbal and written English is essential, along with the ability to develop computer skills as needed.
