Position Information:
The Clinical Support Specialist provides administrative support to patients, families, and professional staff to ensure efficient customer-oriented service delivery. This role actively supports WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model by delivering patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The four key concepts of PFCC are: Dignity and Respect = Listen to and honor patient and family perspectives and choices; Information Sharing = Communicate and share complete and unbiased information with patients and families in ways that are affirming and useful; Participation = Patients and families are encouraged and supported in participating in care and decision-making at the level they choose; Collaboration = Patients and families and the Clinical Support Specialist collaborate in the delivery of care. The Clinical Support Specialist understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, values, and aspirational goals.

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Healthcare Experience Preferred

Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or College Courses in Nursing Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Nurse Aide I Certification Required

Work Schedule:
7p Fri, Sat, Sun

Weekend Requirements:
Every Weekend
