Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Triage Specialist to join our team at Owensboro Health. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your clinical expertise to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate incoming calls from patients, assessing their needs and providing appropriate clinical disposition.
  • Facilitate referrals to primary providers, specialists, healthcare facilities, and community resources, ensuring timely and effective care.
  • Develop treatment plans based on established guidelines and clinical judgment, working collaboratively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide professional advice, education, and options to patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a similar role or setting.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Nursing, or Diploma in Nursing required upon hire.
  • Licensure to practice nursing in the States of Kentucky and Indiana is essential.
Salary and Benefits
