Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist - Addiction Treatment to join our team at Hopkinsville Family Medical LLC.

About the Role:

  • As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work in coordination with the doctor to monitor and dispense medication-assisted therapy to patients suffering from addiction.
  • You will also consult with the patient's therapist and other providers to ensure the treatment plan is adapted accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform client physicals as directed by the Physician.
  • Supervise nursing staff and dispensing operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in patient computer files.
  • Coordinate patient care with the PCP (Primary Care Physician) or other physician who may be prescribing opiates or other psycho-active medication.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current DEA-X Prescription license.
  • Must be a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed in accordance with the laws in the State of employment.
  • Must maintain continuing education credits as required by the appropriate licensing board.
