We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Server to join our team at Virginia Crossings Hotel. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

  • **Provide Exceptional Guest Service**: Attentively listen to guests and anticipate any additional needs or concerns.
  • **Prepare for Events**: Aide in preparations and set tables in accordance with banquet event order prior to events.
  • **Serve Beverages**: Provide beverage service during events.
  • **Maintain Buffet Stations**: Assist in maintaining buffet stations throughout the event.
  • **Serve Meals**: Carry trays of plated meals to serve to guests.
  • **Respond to Feedback**: Respond to feedback from guests and staff regarding food quality and presentation.
  • **Stay Up-to-Date**: Maintain updated knowledge related to current menu options, preparation methods and techniques, and ingredients.
  • **Maintain Cleanliness**: Collect used dishes and glasses from tables and other public areas.
  • **Assist Team Members**: Assist team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
  • **Maintain Cleanliness**: Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
  • **Perform Additional Responsibilities**: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
