About the Role:
Diversified Maintenance is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
- Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas
- Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
- Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
- Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
- Follow housekeeping schedule
- Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to successfully pass a drug test in some situations required
- Some prior cleaning experience is a plus
Working Conditions:
- Part-time position
- 1X week cleaning with flexible days for service
- 3 hours per day
- $15.00 per hour
