Job Summary

The Systems Specialist provides technical support and troubleshooting for networking and server systems. This role involves remote and on-site support, interacting with clients to resolve issues and ensure their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve inbound technical support tickets related to networking and server issues.
  • Travel to client locations to install, configure, and troubleshoot networking and server equipment.
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients.
  • Learn and contribute to our remote monitoring and management systems.
  • Assist teammates as necessary.
  • Work with sales to enhance our client offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in networking and server administration.
  • Strong technical skills in networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols) and server administration (Windows Server, Linux, VMWare, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud-managed network gear (e.g., Meraki, Cisco Meraki, Unifi).
  • SonicWall experience is a plus.
  • Experience with RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Kaseya, NinjaOne).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • A passion for learning and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft certifications).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash).

Additional Information
