Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Systems Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide formal instructions and assistance with maintenance and operational checks on assigned pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot, remove, inspect, install, repair, modify, rebuild, and/or test pneumatic systems and components.
  • Determine proper maintenance and repair procedures and minimum requirements pertaining to parts, clearance, and tolerances.
  • Perform intermediate maintenance, including periodic, phase time, calendar, unscheduled, and special inspections.
  • Provide technical assistance to other shops concerning complicated interaction malfunctions between systems, subsystems, and components.
Requirements
  • Equivalent of a USAF skill level of seven (7) with military experience clearing aircraft for flight equipment discrepancies.
  • Four years of current experience in their respective disciplines on F-16s.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
Desired Skills
  • Experience working with foreign nationals.
  • Documented instructor experience.
  • F-16 Block 40 or higher experience.
  • Experience in shop/flight line setup, debrief, field training detachment (FTD), technical order library maintenance, quality assurance, or modification teams.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule

The selected employee will work part of their schedule remotely and part of their schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
