Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Journal Entries: Book accruals, reserves, reclasses, depreciation, and other necessary general accounting entries.
  • Manage Remittances: Post and apply daily cash receipts and payments, reconcile daily and monthly bank statements, and bank account maintenance.
  • Monthly Closing Process and Related Analysis: Perform various monthly closing processes, including coding review, intercompany reconciliation, and overhead analysis.
  • Develop and Maintain Internal Controls: Design and test internal controls for Vega processes, maintain Delegation of Authority (DOA) and expense approver flow, and manage and maintain Concur reporting system and employee expense reporting process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in a General Accounting function.
  • CPA strongly preferred; must be CPA eligible at a minimum.
  • Fundamental accounting skills required.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Outlook and Word.
