Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient and driven Security Engineering Manager. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with DMG's engineering and product management teams to guarantee that our product platform maintains high standards of security, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction for product security initiatives.
  • Support DMG's expansion while safeguarding the platform, its assets, personnel, and processes.
  • Develop and implement a thorough strategy for application security.
  • Align security resources and practices with business objectives and requirements.
  • Oversee the product security roadmap and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to security engineering.
  • Identify and assess DMG's internal and external vulnerabilities in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to securely design and implement new products and features.
  • Act as a vital member of the engineering team, advocating for security best practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive background in security engineering, with a focus on infrastructure security, web application security, encryption, and vulnerability assessment tools.
  • In-depth understanding of information security policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple significant information security projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership experience with geographically distributed teams.
  • Relevant certifications in IT or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, OSCE).
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and deliver security solutions across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
  • Willingness to meet the in-person requirements of the role.
