About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Blood Cancer Unit at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a blood cancer unit.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
