Key Responsibilities of the Culinary Preparation Specialist:

As a Culinary Preparation Specialist, you will be tasked with the essential preparation and production of food items, garnishes, and condiments for service.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items and ingredients according to established recipes and specific requests.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Safely and efficiently operate all necessary kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively to follow job requirements as directed.
  • Manage multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in confined spaces with varying noise and temperature levels.
  • Lift and move items safely, adhering to weight limits.
  • Maintain mobility throughout the restaurant, including navigating stairs and uneven surfaces.

Essential Duties:

  • Adhere to portion control and inventory standards.
  • Uphold food safety and quality protocols.
  • Accurately read and interpret temperature measurements.
  • Report any food delays or issues to the appropriate coordinator.
  • Maintain accurate records of kitchen output.
  • Understand and implement food allergy procedures and special requests.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
