Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading trucks and railcars with various materials
  • Monitoring processes, systems, tools, and equipment to ensure safe practices
  • Operating equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, and other motorized equipment
  • Working rotating shifts, including weekends and off-duty hours, to meet operational goals and compliance requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training
  • Knowledge of tools and operating equipment used in plant
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing
  • Ability to approach others in a tactful manner, react well under pressure, and be accurate and thorough
Physical Requirements

This job requires the ability to work rotating shifts in excess of eight hours per day, including weekends and off-duty hours, to meet operational goals and compliance requirements. The incumbent must have the ability to operate a front-end loader, forklift, and/or other motorized equipment, and may be required to climb stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, grip, push, pull, move, and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.

In order to perform the duties of this job, the incumbent may be required to walk in excess of 500 yards to reach equipment/areas across the facility.
