Join Our Team as a Community Based Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Based Specialist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a Community Based Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home counseling services to youth and families, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
  • Manage a small case load, working closely with youth, families, and other community members to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide after-hours support to youth and families, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the support they require.
  • Attend weekly meetings for professional development, enhancing your clinical skills and staying up-to-date on best practices.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a social services field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and families, preferably in a clinical or counseling setting.
  • Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation.
  • Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
