Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular product inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications, food safety, and efficiency standards.
- Set up and operate hand cutters and/or harps to cut cheese according to customer specifications.
- Monitor and control weights at the cutter to minimize labor requirements and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities, including product quality and quantity.
- Collaborate with end-of-line staff to ensure correct and complete orders.
- Experience in food production (preferably in a cheese manufacturing environment).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand production schedules and product specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make quality judgments.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.
- Competitive hourly rate: $21.64.
