An esteemed international machinery firm is in search of an Electrical Controls Engineer to contribute to their operations. This role entails travel to various domestic and international locations to oversee the pre-commissioning and commissioning of compressor systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute programming and configuration of PLCs, HMIs, and vibration monitoring systems, along with the setup of various transmitters compatible with the control systems.

- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to enhance the company's standard documentation, including control sequences, wiring diagrams, and Factory Acceptance Test (F.A.T) documents.

- Operate independently in diverse locations, both domestically and internationally, while representing the company with the utmost professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Conduct internal and witnessed F.A.Ts and S.A.Ts, providing constructive feedback on existing Electrical Engineering documentation.

- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks, troubleshooting systems in the field as necessary.

- Generate and submit daily service reports, customer timesheets, invoices for billing, travel itineraries, and updated PLC and HMI programs, adhering to company policies.

- Develop troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and enhance the operation of compressor systems.

- Modify wiring and PLC/HMI programs to guarantee optimal functionality of the compressor systems.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

- 2-3 years of experience in PLC and HMI logic programming using various software packages (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Omron).

- Proficiency in computer-assisted engineering, design, and office software (such as AutoCAD, EPlan, Excel, etc.) is essential.

- Strong skills in programming, testing, and simulating control systems (including transmitters, control valves, PLCs, and control panels) are necessary.

- Willingness to travel frequently is a must.

- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and relevant codes, standards, and industry practices is important.
