Job Title: Electrician

Job Summary:

3M is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and components of equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including faulty electrical components and malfunctioning apparatus
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet safety and regulatory standards
  • Assist with projects, installation of new equipment, and modification of existing equipment
  • Follow National Electrical Code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Five years of electrician experience working around heavy machinery in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, holidays as needed, short notice shift coverage, and ability to work 1st shift (6 AM – 2 PM) with assistance with working 2nd and 3rd shift, as needed
  • Physical onsite attendance to perform essential functions of the position
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, customer service, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout and work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Recent experience working at a mine, quarry, cement plant, or similar industry

Benefits:

The starting rate of pay for this position is $41.85. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
