ROLE OVERVIEW


In the capacity of an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating a diverse workforce by delivering essential services throughout the employee life-cycle.

Your responsibilities will encompass employee onboarding, managing HRIS functions, and collaborating with the HR team to execute both local and organization-wide initiatives.

To excel in this position, you must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the HRIS for all employee life-cycle activities.
  • Address employee inquiries, concerns, and questions with professionalism.
  • Provide guidance and clarity on HR policies, programs, and processes to both employees and management.
  • Act as the primary contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and updated electronic employee files, assisting with HR reporting and audit requests.
  • Support the development, documentation, and implementation of HR policies and programs.
  • Handle initial unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to deliver essential HR services to the workforce.
  • Assist in identifying departmental needs and recommending improvements.
  • Coordinate site-wide events, including benefits fairs and team celebrations.
  • Support recruitment efforts with staffing-related activities.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards regarding all HR matters and documentation.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 6+ months of administrative experience (internship experience is acceptable).
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 3.5 GPA or higher.
  • 1+ years of internship or professional experience in an HR capacity.
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and a commitment to staying informed on HR trends.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace change.
  • Familiarity with HR software such as Workday, Greenhouse, and UltiPro is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in HR operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and assist as needed.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and promptness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

This position is not remote and may require relocation for candidates not currently local.
