About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher at The Learning Experience. As a key member of our childcare center, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Leadership: Collaborate with teachers to design and implement a stimulating and welcoming space that fosters children's growth and development.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Support teachers in delivering our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Safety First: Prioritize a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children's well-being and safety at all times.
  • Family Communication: Assist teachers in keeping parents informed about their child's progress and milestones, utilizing a combination of mobile apps and in-person discussions.
  • Center Collaboration: Work closely with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
  • Relationship Builder: Develop strong relationships with families and colleagues, promoting a culture of learning and play.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in childcare or a demonstrated passion for early childhood education is highly valued.
  • State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Skills: Proven ability to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting, ensuring children's safety and well-being.
  • Physical Resilience: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, safely lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the role.
