Key Responsibilities

  • Program Planning: Develop and implement educational programs for infants and toddlers that meet the developmental needs of the children.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment that is conducive to learning.
  • Instructional Delivery: Engage students in learning by using a variety of instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the children are met.
  • Professional Growth: Participate in professional growth opportunities to enhance student learning and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with infants and toddlers in a state-licensed facility.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
