Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level service focused on the prompt resolution of technical issues while surpassing client expectations for quality and professionalism.
  • Address incoming technical inquiries and requests encompassing software, hardware, and operating system challenges across all supported technologies.
  • Conduct general maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, offering hands-on and/or remote support for desktops, laptops, wireless devices, and peripherals.
  • Manage the build, configuration, and installation processes for various devices.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams or third-party vendors as necessary, adhering to predefined service level agreements.
  • Utilize our internal ticketing system to open, track, escalate, and resolve assigned tickets efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of full-time experience in a technical support capacity.
  • Technical certification in a relevant technology area is preferred.
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Effective interaction with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and participate in an on-call rotation.

Technical Skills:
Basic working knowledge and understanding of:

  • Microsoft Windows operating systems up to Windows 10 for desktops and laptops.
  • Microsoft Office applications through Office 365.
  • O365 migrations and management.
  • Wireless devices and networking.
  • Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and related services.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server and cloud-based mail services.
  • MS Intune and Azure VDI.
  • VMware technologies.
  • Firewall and switch implementations.
  • Networking architecture and equipment.
  • Backup technologies and solutions.
  • Security technologies including multifactor authentication and encryption.
  • Hard drive imaging techniques.
  • Call center tools.
