With over 70 years of experience, Narda-MITEQ specializes in the design and production of a wide array of standard and custom RF/microwave components and integrated systems, catering to the demanding needs of land, sea, air, and space applications. Our extensive technical expertise and innovative solutions are relied upon by global clients to tackle the challenges of next-generation military and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for both structural and thermal aspects to support existing and new designs.
  • Develop innovative design concepts and assess the designs created by peers to meet project specifications.
  • Engage in new product development and contribute to business opportunities during the proposal phase.
  • Provide expert guidance to manufacturing, engineering, and procurement teams regarding mechanical specifications, materials, and finishes.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and assist in tooling design requirements for production and engineering.
  • Prepare and present technical information to colleagues, management, and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; a Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of experience is also acceptable.
  • Practical knowledge of the field typically acquired through advanced education combined with relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor.
  • Experience with ANSYS for CFD Thermal and FEA Structural Analysis.
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
  • Understanding of military specifications for environmental testing.
  • Experience in transitioning designs to production, including Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).
