Mary's Woods is seeking an experienced CDL Driver to support our Transportation team. As a Driver, you will transport residents in our vehicles for regularly scheduled trips, medical appointments, and events. You will need to be comfortable assisting residents with boarding, seating, loading, unloading packages, and wheelchair accessibility protocols.
Our community is a non-profit senior living organization founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, and residential care in a park-like setting. We pride ourselves on our rich heritage, spirit of caring, and welcoming culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport residents on shopping/medical trips, group events, cultural events, and other appointments as needed
* Monitor minor vehicle maintenance, gas usage, mileage log, oil changes, and cleaning vehicles inside and out
* Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding resident rights
* Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators
* Demonstrate the ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Education and Experience Required:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid, current CDL with bus endorsement
* Oregon Driver's License and a safe driving record for a minimum of the previous three years
* Knowledge/Certification in First Aid and CPR
