Job Summary
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy suite team. As a Registered Nurse in this fast-paced environment, you will work collaboratively with a team-oriented team to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients.
• Anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking action to modify the plan of care or elevate to the care team as necessary.
• Practice in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics to advocate for patients and uphold their autonomy in decision-making.
• Engage in the governance of practice and actively seek feedback to improve performance.
Leadership Opportunities
• Manage interpersonal relationships and mentor colleagues to advance nursing practice and the profession.
• Assume authority and accountability for the nursing care of patients, delegating elements of care to others as necessary.
• Prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes.
Scientific and Transferor Roles
• Actively seek out current evidence and standards, applying and translating them to daily practice.
• Role model a culture of inquiry, contributing to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice at the local level.
• Communicate effectively in various formats and actively partner with others to effect change that produces positive outcomes.
Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) with 1 year of experience or Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with 2 years' experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with NH eligibility and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required upon hire.
