About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Engineering Services Technician to join our Avionics Test Engineering organization in Melbourne, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting In-Circuit Test solutions for Avionics products and collaborating with our global engineering organization to design, develop, and maintain manufacturing test solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Expert on Call (EOC) In-Circuit Test (ICT) factory support, including generating new ICT programs, updating existing ICT programs, ICT program conversions, debugging, analysis, and electronics troubleshooting

Requirements
  • Experience in ICT test equipment and test solutions in a manufacturing environment
  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required or A Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Takaya ICT programming and test equipment
  • Experience with HP/SEICA/Marconi ICT programming and test equipment
  • Experience with Valor Process Prep software
  • Experience with electronics troubleshooting
  • Experience with test equipment and test solutions
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to excel in a team environment and interact with various teams
  • Willingness to continually learn

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.


This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
