Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Care Technician or Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting routine diagnostic tests, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
  • Provide patients' personal hygiene and assist with activities of daily living
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for examination
  • Clean and sterilize instruments
  • Inventory and order medical supplies and materials
  • Operate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
  • Perform routine CLIA waived laboratory tests/collect specimens for routine laboratory tests
  • Schedule appointments and make follow-up phone calls to patients
  • Perform administrative tasks, complete client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provide assistance at the front desk
  • Key data into computer to maintain clinic and patient records
Requirements:
  • CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) Certification
  • State Lab Certificate (NV only)
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant Program training program (preferred)
  • Preferred experience in health center/doctor's office setting, patient, and/or long-term care
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
