Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at New London Hospital. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will provide exceptional healthcare to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, diagnose, and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Order and interpret screening and diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans based on relevant findings.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and medical devices within scope of practice and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Provide consultation to patients and families, and collaborate with physicians on complex cases.
  • Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in call rotations and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner in a pediatric or family medicine practice setting.
  • Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program.
  • Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH and certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in good standing.
  • BLS certification required.
