We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a key member of our Supervision Platforms Division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery
    • Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of projects and sprints
    • Establish project plans, resource requirements, project schedules, and task allocation plans with business users, developers, and stakeholders
    • Identify, track, and communicate project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks during the project
    • Coordinate project activities across multiple teams and applications within the organization
    • Secure acceptance and approval of key deliverables based on the project management framework
  • Solution Engineering, Testing, and Delivery
    • Coordinate and work with other technical teams to set up infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, application integrations, and resolve deployment and integration issues
    • Lead and liaise with software engineers and other technical teams to resolve impediments, incidents, and issues
    • Design, manage, and execute test and quality assurance for solutions
    • In concert with subject matter experts, design solutions that include system architecture, application architecture, security, data design, resiliency, performance, reusability, product competency, and programming skills
  • Solution Business Analysis and Design
    • In conjunction with business and product teams, design and deliver a solution experience that meets the needs of users through human, digital, and physical interactions, over time, across a journey
    • Map service/business/functional requirements to solution/application system/technical requirements and ensure overall design, development, and implementation remains consistent with the overall architecture of the project and its objectives and needs
  • Product Technical Management and Operations
    • Work closely with the business product owner and software engineers on regular deployment of product features
    • Support system operations after project go-live to ensure system availability and SLA
    • Conduct maintenance and technology lifecycle management on applications and systems
  • Budgeting and Planning
    • Budgeting and resourcing planning for the team, products, and projects
  • Vendor Contracting and Management
    • Conduct procurement
    • Manage vendors toward delivery of outcomes
  • Governance, Risk, and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance to ICT Governance policies and standards
    • Ensure risk framework is adhered to, and carry out risk management for projects and products
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience in project management, business analysis, and system operation
  • Preferably more than 3 years of relevant experience in agile project management
  • Strong experience in managing business, IT, and senior stakeholders
  • Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse technologies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required
  • Working experience in using project management software like JIRA to track, monitor, and report project/issue progress and produce reports
  • Familiarity with Government Instruction Manual 8 will be an added advantage
  • Familiar with containers, microservices, DevOps, and AWS Cloud technologies
  • Resourceful and possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Good analytical skills, and able to multitask and deliver results in a timely manner
  • Ability to resolve complex problems creatively
  • Self-driven, creative, and team-oriented person with good interpersonal and organizational skills
