Job Summary

Froedtert South is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging services department, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment, administering medications, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Imaging Equipment: Utilize advanced CT scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Administer Medications: Safely and accurately administer medications, including intravenous contrast agents, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Provide Patient Care: Effectively communicate with patients of all ages, demonstrating compassion, patience, and empathy in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Assist with Department Coverage: Provide technical support and coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of experience in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensure to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin, A.R.R.T. registered in Radiography, and A.R.R.T. – CT certification (preferred or required within 1 year of hire).
  • Skills: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, basic computer skills, and ability to read, write, hear, speak, and comprehend the English language fluently.
