Job Summary

Froedtert South is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging services department, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, positioning patients, and administering contrast materials to capture high-quality diagnostic images. Your excellent communication skills and compassion will be essential in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CT scanners and other department-specific equipment to perform routine and special exams/procedures
Position patients to maximize image quality and minimize the need for additional imaging
Administer medications and contrast materials in a timely and safe manner
Receive and record verbal orders from licensed independent practitioners
Assist Radiologists/physicians with special image-guided procedures
Ensure exam rooms are set up according to department/physician protocols

Requirements

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
Licensure to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin
A.R.R.T. registered in Radiography
A.R.R.T. – CT certification (preferred or required within 1 year of hire)
Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in software upgrades
Ability to read, write, hear, speak, and comprehend the English language fluently
