Overview:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator to enhance our educational initiatives and provide exceptional patient care. As a key member of our faculty, you will engage in the training of medical students, residents, and fellows, while also contributing to the advancement of clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care at our affiliated healthcare facilities.
- Provide clinical coverage during assigned shifts, primarily focusing on after-hours responsibilities, with flexibility based on departmental needs.
- Oversee the educational experiences of learners at various levels, including medical students and residents.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient care and departmental performance.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for all women's health services.
Goals:
- Maintain a strong presence during all patient deliveries and related consultations.
- Enhance patient safety and care quality within the department.
- Standardize care practices to minimize variations in treatment approaches.
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and possess eligibility for a medical license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Terminal degree in a clinical field (MD or DO) is required. Additional qualifications such as an MBA or MPH are advantageous. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential.
