Your expertise in sterile compounding will ensure that medications are prepared safely and accurately, meeting the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations, including USP 797 and USP 800
  • Maintain competency in sterile compounding and participate in ongoing training and education
  • Participate in medication management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining medications and supplies
  • Troubleshoot equipment and software issues related to compounding
  • Contribute to a team environment, working collaboratively to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Florida or ability to obtain prior to hire date
  • Intermediate level of sterile compounding experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
