Principal Structural Analysis Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analyses using automated methods and procedures approved for the program.
- Ensure that designs meet program requirements and are the lightest, lowest cost, and highest quality products consistent with schedule and budget objectives.
- Derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads, and perform weight and stiffness optimization.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results.
- Comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 3 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to start of employment.
- Preferred qualifications include crew systems structural analysis experience and active DoD secret clearance.
- A competitive salary range of $92,600 - $139,000.
- A discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- A variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
