Job Description

Clinical Specialist / Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional

This role involves providing oversight and support for individual programming and needs in assigned ICF programs. The QIDP will work closely with facility and day program staff to ensure consistency and effective service delivery.

  1. Individualized Support: Develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring each person receives active, appropriate treatment.
  2. Training and Education: Conduct training sessions on individual programming for facility and day program staff.
  3. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of individual progress and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with facility and vocational program staff, clients, families, funding sources, and regulatory agencies.
  5. Program Development: Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a human service-related field.
  • One year of experience in direct service with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICF rules and regulations (preferred).
Location and Work Environment

This role is based in Council Bluffs, with travel to various locations as needed. A current driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required for on-the-job use.
