St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a global leader in pediatric cancer research and treatment. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission.
About the JobIn this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients across various units, including Inpatient Units K3, BMT, and ICU.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in nursing, with at least five years of clinical experience. Additionally, certification in a specialty area is required within one year of hire date.
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Direct Patient Care: Provide expert nursing care to patients, incorporating evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Practice Development: Collaborate with nurses, leaders, and healthcare providers to advance practice changes throughout the organization
- Nurse Support: Mentor and consult with nurses to support their professional development
- Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing
- Five years of clinical experience
- Certification in a specialty area within one year of hire date
